Our story
A profession coming of age.
The senior living placement and referral profession has grown rapidly across Oklahoma over the past decade. As more families turn to advisors for guidance, the need has become clear: families deserve a way to identify advisors who operate with integrity, and ethical agencies deserve an organized voice that represents their work.
The Oklahoma Senior Navigation and Referral Association was founded to meet that need. We bring together the placement and referral agencies serving Oklahoma families under a shared commitment to ethical practice, professional excellence, and family-centered guidance. We are not a single agency, a placement service, or a referral network — we are the professional body that sets the bar for what senior care navigation in Oklahoma should look like.

What we do
Five functions, one purpose.
Set professional standards
We publish and maintain a Code of Ethics governing member agency conduct, family communication, community relationships, and compensation practices.
Support member excellence
We provide continuing education, peer learning, business development resources, and forums where member agencies share best practices.
Advocate statewide
We represent the profession in conversations with senior living providers, regulators, healthcare partners, and policymakers across Oklahoma.
Connect families to trusted advisors
We maintain a public directory of member agencies organized by city and service area — a starting point Oklahoma families can trust.
Build community partnerships
We work alongside senior living communities, home care agencies, hospitals, and aging-services organizations to strengthen the referral ecosystem.

A mark that tells our story.
The Association is represented by the Scissor-Tailed Flycatcher — Oklahoma's state bird, and a creature found in no other state as commonly or as proudly as ours. We chose the scissor-tail because it tells our story without needing to explain itself.
